Admission requirements

Admission to the Master Program Business Administration and admission to the Master Program International Business Administration requires the completion of a subject related Bachelor's degree program at a university, university of applied sciences or a qualifying equivalent study program at a recognized German or foreign post-secondary educational institution. Moreover, bachelor graduates from other study degrees may also be admitted to the Master program Business Administration and the Master Program International Business Administration under certain conditions.

The completion of one of the following Bachelor studies of the University of Vienna entitles you without further qualifications to be admitted to the Master Program Business Administration as well as to the Master Program International Business Administration:

• Business Administration, 
• International Business Administration, 
• Economics, and 
• Statistics

Master Business Administration

For graduates of other Bachelor studies of the University of Vienna, the following admission requirements apply:

• Successful completion of both extension curricula:
  
  • EC Principles of Business Administration (15 ECTS)
  • EC Methods in Business Administration (15 ECTS)
• C1 level English certificate 

 
Bachelor graduates who have not studied at the University of Vienna or have not completed any extension curricula as part of the Bachelor's degree program have to adduce proof of the following knowledge:

• Economic science knowledge amounting to 30 ECTS of which at least
  • 15 ECTS derive from business administration subjects
  • 3 ECTS from mathematics
  • 3 ECTS from statistics
• C1 level English certificate

Master International Business Administration

For graduates of other Bachelor studies of the University of Vienna, the following admission requirements apply:

• Successful completion of two of the three extension curricula: 
  • EC Principles of Business Administration (15 ECTS)
  • EC Methods in Business Administration (15 ECTS)
  • Entrepreneurship (15 ECTS)
• C1 level English certificate 

 
Bachelor graduates who have not studied at the University of Vienna or have not completed any extension curricula as part of the Bachelor's degree program have to adduce proof of the following knowledge:

• Economic science knowledge amounting to 30 ECTS of which at least
  • 15 ECTS derive from business administration subjects
• C1 level English certificate
