Specialization in Cultural Studies

In the specialization phase of the Master's degree program International Business Administration, students can choose one out of seven cultural areas (see info box on the right). The module groups of the cultural studies consist of two to three compulsory modules and comprise 40 ECTS in total. 

The objective of the courses is to impart knowledge in the areas of business communication, history, culture, law, politics and society of the respective cultural area.

Slavonic Language I + II: If the chosen language is Russian or BCS, it is also possible to complete a module exam after requesting it at the responsible institution. 

The language exercises in Russian and BCS are so over-booked, that only core Slavonic studies students can participate. Equivalent courses (service modules) can be completed at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics, or the knowledge can be acquired otherwise. The module examination will be held at the Institute for Slavonic Studies.
